Iron cage (220/90 cm) covered with 24 carat gold, hand-made red soap (110/55 cm) soaked with perfume. Glory Box, an old English word for dowry, refers in this context to virginity.

Traditionally, purity is associated with white, however here, purity is symbolized by red. The author in line with this logic, but in a subversive way responds to this ritual, by enabling spectators to symbolically purify using red soaps.
